manoj believes in insightful simplicity. a visual communication solution should be simple. the process of creating it could be complex.
manoj phulambrikar began wisdom tree, a design consultancy, in 2001. they create brand road map and back it up with design solutions: from logos and corporate identities, packaging graphics, corporate brochures and e-communication, signage systems and monthly ad campaigns that span several cities.
at lowe-lintas, manoj worked on an array of brands. being a graphic designer in the advertising world helped him integrate visual language with sharply defined messages. his love of reading made him write a few copylines and some radio spots.
at bates-pangulf, creating attractive communication for retail was a demanding task. having an office in the mall helped. walking around, he could see whether his work had increased the footfalls.
communication consultancy to india's largest petrochemicals conglomerate made manoj translate an organisation's vision into tangible design solutions.
when asked about his uniqueness in work, and about things that occupy him, he says,‘i enjoy creativity and conceptual thinking. international design sensibility combined with a wide ranging experience in advertising happens to be my specialty. strategy, design, advertising, writing, and education, keep me busy.’
honesty, a pursuit of creativity, and application of learning are qualities that have helped him.
‘everyday begins like a blank canvas. with excitement you give it your best. good results follow,’ he says.
manoj is a graduate of the national institute of design (nid), ahmedabad, india's premier design institute. he is a recipient of nid's 'outstanding achievement' scroll of honour.
